Season 1 - Episode 21
We resume our episode this week at the Ahpla University library where Patrick has just finished up a conversation on his cell phone with his girlfriend, Krystalyn.
Krystalyn: Okay honey, I’ll talk to you later! Love ya!
Patrick: Love you too.
Krystalyn: Bye hon!
Krystalyn hangs up the phone. Patrick looks over at Joi.
Patrick: Whew! That was close.
Joi: Yeah, but you told her where we were! I picked the library because I knew that no one would see us here.
Patrick: Don’t worry about it. She’s with her sorors. She ain’t gonna come lookin’ for me.
Joi: Are you sure?
Patrick: Yeah. Now what was so important that we just had to talk?
Joi: Um….well…….I wanted to talk to you about Zeta Phi Beta.
Patrick: Zeta?
Joi: Yeah..
Patrick: What about it?
Joi: Well you remember I was supposed to be online for it with Sy'Mone but I had to drop for obvious reasons (Joi points down towards her stomach) I guess I'm still interested but I wanted to know if you heard Krystalyn talking about doing a line or anything this semester.
Patrick: Why are you asking me about this? Why didn't you ask Sy'Mone?
Joi: I did but you know Krystalyn doens't really talk to Sy'Mone like that.
Patrick: Yeah, that's true.
Joi: I guess I thought....
Silence
Patrick: You thought what?
Joi: Well I guess I thought it would be okay for me to ask you.....I mean with our history and all.
Patrick shifts around in his seat nervously.
Patrick: Oh well uh......I'm not sure. I haven't heard her mention anything but uh.....Krys really likes you so why don't you just talk to her about it?
Joi: You think I can?
Patrick: Sure.
Joi: I wouldn't really know what to say.
Patrick: Just the same thing you said to me. Tell her you are still interested.
Joi: Okay......if you think it would be okay.
Patrick: You called me to come all the way out here for that?
Joi: Yeah! You know you can't just broadcast your greek interests all across campus!
Patrick: (laughs) Yeah that's true!
Joi: Why? What else did you think it was about?
Patrick: Oh well...........I wasn't really sure.
Joi: You thought it was about the baby?
Patrick: No, of course not. Why would I think it was about your baby?
Joi: Hmm......maybe because shortly after we stopped hooking up, I ended up pregnant!
Patrick: Well......it did seem like it happened pretty quick.
Joi: It did.
Silence
Joi: Patrick if you want to know if I'm pregnant with your baby, why don't you just ask me? In fact, why haven't you just asked me? If I didn't call you over here today, would you have ever said anything to me at all or were you gonna go on pretending like you don't even know me?
Patrick: I figured if it was my baby, you would have told me by now.
Joi: You sure about that?
Patrick: Okay fine, Joi. I'll play along with your lil game. Is it possible that you are pregnant by me?
Joi: Anything is possible.
Patrick: Joi, stop playin' games.
Joi: I'm not playin' games, Patrick. You asked me if it was possible and I answered the question.
Patrick: So then you aren't sure? Is that what you are sayin'?
Krystalyn: Joi?
Patrick and Joi look up to see Krystalyn standing there with a plate of food.
Joi: Oh......hey....Krystalyn......
Krystalyn: Joi, what are you doin' here with Patrick? Patrick, I thought you were over here with Marcellus studying for your Zoology test. What is goin' on here? I want the truth and I want it now!

Off campus, at the diner, Armani and Denitra are having dinner.
Denitra: Thanks for inviting me out for dinner, Armani.
Armani: No doubt!
Denitra: I don't think you and I have ever really gotten a chance to talk. I mean I think we had like one class together freshman year and that was it.
Armani: Right!
Denitra: So what made you decide to ask me out now?
Armani: You one of the finest girls on campus!
Denitra (blushing): Oh Armani! You're just sayin' that!
Armani: Naw it's true! I had a good time with you at the homecomin' party!
Denitra: I had a good time with you too. Until Joriah started trippin! (Rolls her eyes)
Armani: Yeah that dude was definitely trippin! For sho. What's up with ya'll?
Denitra: Long story! But I'm sure you ain't invite me to dinner to talk about Joriah.
Armani: Naw...
Denitra: So um.......tell me a lil bit about yourself.
Armani: What you wanna know?
Denitra: Um......I don't know. Whatever you wanna tell me.
Armani: Uh........I play football.
Denitra: Okay...
Armani: And I'm a Que Dawg! (throws up the hook and starts to bark loudly in the diner)
Denitra (laughs): Well I definitely know that! Tell me somethin' I don't know!
Armani: Um.......I don't know....
Denitra: What are you majoring in?
Armani: Like my classes?
Denitra: Yeah....
Armani: Oh um.....Business.
Denitra: Oh okay. That's cool......what do you want to do with your business degree?
Armani: I'm gettin' drafted.
Denitra: You are? I didn't know that! You already have some agents scoutin' you?
Armani: Not yet. But I'm sure I'll be hearin' from somebody pretty soon.
Denitra: Well do you have a backup plan?
Armani: For what? Trust me, girl. The NFL is not about to let all this fine football talent slide by them!
Denitra: Oh okay..
Armani: So uh.......what you got planned for later on tonight?
Denitra: What do you mean? Like after we leave here?
Armani: Yeah...
Denitra: I don't know. I might study a little bit before I go to bed.
Armani: Why don't you come back to the Que house for awhile?
Denitra: Oh is there a party or somethin' goin' on tonight?
Armani: Naw....I was hopin' for something a lil smaller. Maybe like a party for two....
Denitra: For two?
Armani: That's right, girl. Me......and you.......

Krystalyn: Joi?
Patrick and Joi look up to see Krystalyn standing there with a plate of food.
Joi: Oh......hey....Krystalyn......
Krystalyn: Joi, what are you doin' here with Patrick? Patrick, I thought you were over here with Marcellus studying for your Zoology test. What is goin' on here? I want the truth and I want it now!
Patrick: Oh well uh......
Krystalyn: Well uh, what? Somebody better start talkin'!
Joi: Krystalyn, don't be mad at Patrick. I called him and asked him to meet me here.
Krystalyn: Oh you did?
Joi: Yeah.
Krystalyn: And what did you do that for?
Joi: I wanted to talk to him about your sorority.
Krystalyn: What about it?
Joi: Well......I am still very much interested in becoming a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc and I was hoping that Patrick would be able to give me some insight.
Krystalyn: Patrick isn't a Zeta.
Joi: I realize that. I was just hoping that maybe he would have some advice on how to approach you and the other members about a possible future intake.
Krystalyn: Patrick is not a member of Zeta Phi Beta and therefore would not be able to properly advise you on anything regarding my sorority.
Joi: I understand.
Krystalyn: I certainly hope that you do, Joi. I'm sure you know that I was lookin' forward to having you become a member last year. I have to advise you though that mistakes like this could cost you the opportunity to become a member in the future. I will just ignore it this time but if it happens again, I will have to take it all into consideration when and if we ever decide to extend a membership invitation to you.
Joi: Okay. I'm sorry.
Krystalyn: That's fine.
Joi: I guess I'll be goin' now.....
Krystalyn: Not so fast, Joi........you explained why you are here with Patrick but it still leaves me with one question.
Joi: What's that?
Krystalyn: Actually, maybe this one is for my lovely fiance, here......
Patrick looks at Krystalyn.
Patrick (smiling): What's up baby?
Krystalyn: I'm pretty sure that you told me one time before that you didn't even know Joi. Wanna explain to me how someone you supposedly don't know had your phone number to call you to meet her here?
Silence
Krystalyn: Patrick? I'm waitin'........

Armani: Why don't you come back to the Que house for awhile?
Denitra: Oh is there a party or somethin' goin' on tonight?
Armani: Naw....I was hopin' for something a lil smaller. Maybe like a party for two....
Denitra: For two?
Armani: That's right, girl. Me......and you.......
Denitra: Um........I don't think so. But thanks for the invitation.
Armani: Oh girl, don't be so shy.....you certainly weren't dancin' at the homecomin' party like you was shy. Besides, I'm just tryin' to get to know you a lil better, that's all....
Denitra begins to shift in her seat. She is visibly uncomfortable.
Denitra: Thanks again, Armani but I think I'm gonna have to pass...
Joriah walks up to the table.
Joriah: What's up Denitra.
Denitra: Hi Joriah.
Joriah: You alright over here? It looked like somethin' was wrong.
Denitra: I'm fine.
Joriah: You sure?
Armani: She said she is alright......playboy.
Joriah: Ehh man, I'm talkin' to Denitra. Mind yo business.
Armani: Actually from where I'm sittin', you the one that need to mind yo business. If you hadn't noticed, I'm kinda on a date.
Joriah: Yeah with my girl!
Armani: Your girl?
Joriah: That's right! My girl.
Armani: Last I checked, Denitra was single.
Joriah: Yeah well Denitra will always be my girl.
Denitra: Excuse me! I am still sittin' here!
Joriah: You, Nitra, what are you doin' out with this clown?
Denitra: It's none of your business who I spend my time with, Joriah! You made it perfectly clear that you have moved on. What's wrong with me doin' the same?
Joriah: Alright, fine. I ain't tryin' to argue with you, Nitra. I just wanted to make sure you was alright. You looked like somethin' was wrong, that's all.
Armani: Trust me, youngun, I'm takin' real good care of Nitra. Better care than she's ever had. Keep it movin'.....
Joriah jumps down into Armani's face.
Joriah: You know what! I've had enough of you! You got so much to say to me! Then why don't we take this outside!

Back on campus at the Omega Psi Phi house, Kyle and Karissa are upstairs in Kyle's room.
Karissa (rolling over): That was great!
Kyle: Yeah it was.....
Karissa: You think you might be up for another round?
Kyle: Dag girl! You ain't had enough of that yet?
Karissa (laughing): I told you it had been awhile! Besides.....we agreed this was a one time thing. So you better get all you can get while you still can!
Kyle: Nah I feel bad enough....
Karissa: Feel bad why? It's not going to get back to Stasha! I told you I ain't tellin' a soul!
Kyle: It's not about you tellin' anybody. I mean I do love Stasha. That's my girl. And that's your roommate!
Karissa: I know! I love Stasha too! That's my sands! But sometimes a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do!
Kyle: I guess.....
Karissa: I'm starvin'!
Kyle: I guess so! We didn't even get to finish dinner cause somebody couldn't wait to get over here!
Karissa: Whatever, Kyle! You should have held out until after dinner and then maybe you would have gotten to finish dinner!
Kyle: Oh……is that right? Well what if I came back over there now? Would you be holdin out or would you be givin' in?
Karissa: I guess you'll have to come over here to find out.
Kyle climbs over on top of Karissa and begins to kiss her passionately.
Karissa (moaning softly): Oh Kyle......
Kyle and Karissa are interrupted by a loud knock on the door.
Stasha (from the other side of the door): Kyle! Kyle honey! Are you here?
