Season 1 - Episode 23
We resume our episode this week off campus at the diner; Joriah has just gotten into a confrontation with Armani.
Joriah jumps down into Armani's face.
Joriah: You know what! I've had enough of you! You got so much to say to me! Then why don't we take this outside!
Denitra: Joriah, stop it!
Joriah doesn't move. Denitra gets up out of the booth and pulls Joriah back.
Denitra: Joriah, do you hear me? Stop this. Now.
Armani: Yeah Joriah....you might wanna listen to her.
Denitra: Armani, you stop it, too. This is between Joriah and I.
Joriah: Nitra, this dude is no good and you know it. I was just tryin' to look out for you.
Denitra: I don't need you to look out for me, Joriah. I'm a big girl.
Joriah: Nitra, why you actin' like this?
Denitra: Actin' like what, Joriah? It's not an act. You ain't had no time for me and now all of a sudden, you're my big, bad protector? I don't think so.
Joriah: Nitra, it ain't even like that and you know it. You know me!
Denitra: Correction! I knew you. I don't know who you are anymore.
Joriah stands there silently looking hurt.
Joriah: What is that supposed to mean?
Denitra: It means.....
Denitra stops and looks over at the table at Armani who is listening intently to their conversation.
Denitra: You know what? Let's step outside so we can speak privately.
Joriah: Fine with me.
Denitra: Armani, I'll be back.
Armani: No problem, baby. I'll be right here waiting.
Joriah rolls his eyes at Armani's comment and follows Denitra out the door.

Over at the library, Krystalyn has run into Patrick and Joi at the library.
Krystalyn: I'm pretty sure that you told me one time before that you didn't even know Joi. Wanna explain to me how someone you supposedly don't know had your phone number to call you to meet her here?
Silence
Krystalyn: Patrick? I'm waitin'........
Joi: Oh um......I asked Brian for it.
Krystalyn: What?
Joi: Yeah, Brian. One of the Alpha's........
Krystalyn: I know who Brian is.
Joi: Oh well I got it from him. I'm really sorry again, Krystalyn. The last thing I wanted to do was cause any trouble.
Krystalyn: That's fine, Joi.
Joi: Well uh.......I guess I'll be goin' now. Patrick, thanks for meetin' me. I guess I'll see you around. I guess I'll see you both around.
Patrick: Alright. See ya later.
Krystalyn: Bye, Joi.
Joi walks off and leaves Krystalyn and Patrick alone.
Patrick: Hey baby.........so you came over to bring your man some food, huh?
Krystalyn: Yeah, I did because I thought you were studyin'!
Patrick: I'm sorry, baby. I didn't mean to lie to you.
Krystalyn: You know I hate lies, Patrick.
Patrick: I know baby and I'm sorry. I shouldn't have lied to you. I promise you it won't happen again.
Krystalyn: And am I supposed to believe that?
Patrick: Krys, please don't be mad. Forgive me?
Krystalyn: I guess.
Patrick: Hey! What was it you wanted to talk to me about on the phone? Somethin' about a question you wanted to ask me or somethin'?
Krystalyn: Oh yeah.......I remember.......but uh......we can talk about it later. I don't really wanna get into it right now.
Patrick: You sure?
Krystalyn: Yeah.......let's get outta here.
Patrick: Alright, cool.
Krystalyn and Patrick get up and head towards the exit door of the library.

Scene 1 Continued....
Joriah rolls his eyes at Armani's comment and follows Denitra out the door.
Denitra: LIke I was sayin'....I don't even know who you are anymore, Joriah. I mean we been together since freshman year and then all of a sudden, you get your letters and you got no time for me. Now you can't stop chasin' me. You show up wherever I am. It's like even if we ain't together, you don't want nobody else to be with me. What's up with that?
Joriah: I mean.....you know you always gonna be my girl.....
Denitra: No I don't know that. I don't even know what that means. Stop playin' games, Joriah. You either want me or you don't. So which is it?
SIlence
Denitra: Oh now you have nothin' to say? Whatever. I'm outta here.
Denitra turns to walk back into the diner. Upon entering the diner, she finds Armani in the booth hugged up with some other girl. Joriah follows behind her.
Denitra: Uh.....Armani.....what is goin' on?
Armani: Oh what's up baby...this is uh.....
Looks at the girl he is sittin' beside.
Armani: Baby, what's your name again? Well anyway.......she's my freshman mentee.....so you know........I'm just doin' a lil mentorin' right now....
Denitra: Oh well please don't let me stop you! I'm outta here.
Armani: Wait, Nitra! Where you goin'? Our date ain't over yet!
Denitra: Actually it is. I've had enough of both of you for one evenin'. I'd rather spend it alone than with either of you!
Denitra walks out of the diner and leaves both Joriah and Armani there together.

Over at the Omega Psi Phi House, we join Karissa and Kyle.
Kyle climbs over on top of Karissa and begins to kiss her passionately.
Karissa (moaning softly): Oh Kyle......
Kyle and Karissa are interrupted by a loud knock on the door.
Stasha (from the other side of the door): Kyle! Kyle honey! Are you here?
Kyle looks up shocked and then looks at Stasha and does a "shhhhhhh" motion. Kyle and Karissa lie still and quiet.
Stasha knocks again.
Stasha: Honey! Are you here?
Silence
Kyle and Karissa lay silently for a few more minutes.
Karissa (whispering): Is she gone?
Kyle: Shhhhh.....
Kyle gets up quietly out of the bed and tip toes over to the window to look out. He sees Stasha walking away from the house.
Kyle: Yeah, she's leaving. Dag, Stasha. That was close.
Karissa: Yeah, I know...
Kyle: I think you should leave.
Karissa: Excuse me? You not gonna finish what you started?
Kyle: We are finished.
Karissa: I don't think so!
Kyle: Karissa, Stasha, my girlfriend and your sands almost caught us together! And you still ain't had enough?
Karissa: Whatever, Kyle. Don't try to get all high and mighty now! The deed has already been done!
Kyle: I think it's time for you to go.
Karissa: Oh so you just gonna throw me out? Whatever, Kyle. Don't think you...
Kyle's cell phone begins to ring. He looks down to see that it is Stasha.

Scene 2 Continued.......
Patrick and Krystalyn walk hand in hand on the campus of Ahpla University. The sun is beginning to set and is painting the sky with colors of orange, gold, and burnt red. The air is getting chilly and Patrick pulls Krystalyn close to him, in an effort to keep her warm.
Krystalyn: Patrick?
Patrick: Hmm?
Krystalyn: I changed my mind.
Patrick: About what? Me? (laughs)
Krystalyn: (laughs): Don't test me!
Patrick: No for real.....about what?
Krystalyn: About that question I wanted to ask you.
Patrick: Oh, okay. Well.....what is it?
Krystalyn: Secrets.......do you have any?
Patrick: Huh?
Krystalyn: I mean.........Laray and I were talking earlier about couples keepin' secrets from each other and I told her that you and I know everything about each other! Right? I mean.......you wouldn't keep anything from me, would you?
Patrick: No.
Krystalyn: Well that's what I told her! I told Laray, I said-Patrick and I are like an open book with each other. But she just kept goin on and on about how no one knows everything about the person they are in a relationship with. Isn't that crazy!
Patrick: Oh, yeah. Completely.
Krystalyn: Well you don't sound too sure.
Patrick: Oh.....um, I am.
Krystalyn: Patrick......is there somethin' you want to tell me?
Patrick: No. Don't be silly.
Krystalyn: Okay let me correct that.
Krystalyn stops walking to stare Patrick in his face.
Krystalyn: Is there somethin' you need to tell me? Because if there is, you better tell me now. Remember the truth always comes to light, Patrick. So if there is somethin' I need to know, I'd rather hear it from you now than later.
Silence
Krystalyn: Patrick! Are you keepin' something from me? Tell me!
Patrick: Of course not, baby. Of course not.
Patrick leans in to kiss Krystalyn. He pulls her close to him in an embrace.
Krystalyn: Good. Because if I ever found that you were keeping somethin' from me.........I don't know what I would do.........

Scene 3 Continued....
Kyle's cell phone begins to ring. He looks down to see that it is Stasha.
Kyle: Karissa, be quiet. It's Stasha.
Karissa: What? Kyle, no! You can't pick up!
Kyle: What do you mean, I can't pick up? I have to pick up! I always pick up when she calls! Just......just be quiet.
Karissa: Okay.
Kyle (picking up his phone): Heyyyyyy baby!
Stasha: Hi lovey! What are you doin'?
Kyle: Huh?
Stasha: I said what are you doin'? Can you hear me?
Kyle: Oh um, yeah, now I can. Um.....nothin'.
Stasha: Where are you? Karissa left me a note that the two of you were at the Caf but when I went over there, I couldn't find either of you.
Kyle: Oh. Um. Yeah.......we were there.
Stasha: Hmm. I guess I just missed you.
Kyle: Yeah, I guess so.
Stasha: Well where are you now? I wanted to talk to you about somethin'. It's important.
Kyle: Oh um, you know.........at the gym. Just uh......workin' out. Tryin' to stay in shape.
Stasha: Oh okay. Well when are you gonna be home? I need to see you.
Kyle: Um.......sometime later. Why what's up?
Stasha: Well I really would rather talk to you about it in person.
Kyle: Um, okay. Well just come by later about 9?
Stasha: Okay! I'll see you then!
Kyle: Okay.
Stasha: Oh and honey?
Kyle: Yeah, what's up?
Stasha: I love you.....
Kyle (sighs silently): I love you too.
Stasha: Bye!
Kyle hangs up the phone.
Karissa: Whew! That was close.
Kyle (sighing): Yeah. She said she has somethin' to talk to me about. Do you know what.....
Karissa's Cell phone rings.
Karissa: It's Stasha!
Kyle: You have to pick up.
Karissa: What should I tell her?
Kyle: I don't know!
Karissa: Hello?
Stasha: Hey sands!
Karissa: Oh um, hey soror.
Stasha: Girl, where are you! I need to talk to you! I'm finally ready!
Karissa: What?
Stasha: To have sex with Kyle! I'm goin' to tell him tonight. I mean I love him and I know he loves me. So why shouldn't I do this you know? I know he's gonna marry me so......I'm gonna do it, Rissa. I'm definitely gonna do it. And I'm goin' over there to tell him tonight! I'm so happy! He's gonna be so excited! I am too, soror. I really am. For the first time in my life, I'm truly, truly happy.
Silence
Stasha: Karissa? You there?
Karissa: Yeah, I'm here.
Stasha: So...what do you think?
