We resume our episode this week over in Stasha’s new room, she is relaxing, watching television when there is a knock on the door. Stasha gets up to answer.
Kiaterria: Hey soror!
Stasha: Hey girl. Come in.
Kiaterria: Whatcha doin’?
Stasha: Nothin’. Watchin’ T.V.
Kiaterria: Ohhhh big fun…..
Stasha: Oh leave me alone! I’m just tryin’ to relax. You look cute!
Kiaterria does a little spin so that Stasha can get a better look at her outfit.
Kiaterria: Well thanks!
Stasha: Where you off to?
Kiaterria: Um……..the Alpha party! Did you forget?
Stasha: Oh right. Yeah, I guess I did.
Kiaterria: That’s why I came over here. To pick you up….
Stasha: For what? I ain’t goin’ to nobody’s party tonight unless it’s in this room!
Kiaterria: Why not?
Stasha: For one thing, I’m tired….
Kiaterria: And….
Stasha: And I have nothin’ to wear!
Kiaterria: Are you crazy?! You have the cutest clothes of anyone I know!
Stasha: I just don’t feel like goin’, Tee.
Kiaterria: You cannot make me go to this party alone!
Stasha: Well you’re gonna have to cause I’m not goin’. Besides, where’s Jeff?
Kiaterria: Ugh….let’s not go there today.
Stasha: Okay…..
Kiaterria: Okay really…..why don’t you want to go to the party with me? Is it because you’re afraid Kyle and Karissa will be there?

Off campus, the brothers of Iota Phi Theta have just left to go to the Alpha Party at Club 1209.
Russell: How long we gotta stay at this party?
Kashawn: What? Why?
Russell: I don't know how many times I can hear that 06 call!
Malik: So we'll just drown them out!
Malik and Russell start to laugh.
Kashawn: Come on brothers. We can't do that!
Shakir: Besides, I heard it's gonna be a whole lot of fine women up in there!
Kashawn: Man, that's all you worry about!
Shakir: That's right! I'll settle down later. But for now I'm like a broom.
Malik: A broom?
Shakir: That's right.....I just wanna sweep around........
Kashawn: That's nasty, man. That's why Karissa dumped you.
Russell: Karissa broke up with you?
Shakir: Just temporary, man. Just temporary. As soon as she sees that ring, she'll come around.
Kashawn: Ring?
Shakir: You heard me.
Malik: What ring?
Shakir: I bought Karissa a ring. An engagement ring.
Kashawn: And when are you planning to give her this ring?
Shakir: In two months....on her birthday.....
Kashawn: She hasn't even talked to you in a month. What makes you think she's gonna accept a marriage proposal?
Shakir: Trust me. I have my ways....
Kashawn: Whatever.
Shakir: Besides....I know you ain't talkin'.....I heard what went down with you, Laci, and Taylor at the movie theater....
Kashawn: Man it wasn't even that bad. Besides....Taylor had her chance. I'm movin' on.....

Kiaterria: Okay really…..why don’t you want to go to the party with me? Is it because you’re afraid Kyle and Karissa will be there?
Silence
Kiaterria: Stash…..you can’t hide forever….
Stasha: Says who?
Kiaterria: I know you’re still pissed at them….and you should be! But thank God your test came back negative.
Stasha: Yeah. I don’t know what I would have done if it had come back positive!
Kiaterria: Girl, you just have to move on from my ol nasty cousin.
Stasha: Yeah well what about Karissa? I still have to be in the same chapter with her!
Kiaterria: We’ll see about that.
Stasha: Excuse me?
Kiaterria: Nothin’. Look girl……you need to be comin’ to this party with me! Besides, Kyle probably ain’t comin’ and if he does, he won’t stay long. You know he doesn’t really frequent Alpha events.
Stasha: True! He doesn’t! I remember one time….
Stasha stops herself.
Stasha: Nothin’….
Kiaterria: You miss him, don’t you?
Stasha: Of course I do. I mean I hate him and I’m furious at him for what he did to me…..but I loved Kyle for a long time. We were friends, Tee. I think that’s what hurts the most. We were friends. I feel like he betrayed our friendship.
Kiaterria: He’s not doin’ too good.
Stasha: What…with the breakup? Well he should have thought about that before he started screwing my line sister
Kiaterria: No I mean with all this HIV stuff….he’s like in denial or something, Stash. He won’t even go back to the doctor to start his treatment plan.
Stasha: What?
Kiaterria: He really needs a friend who can kick his butt back into reality.
Stasha: What are you suggesting, Tee? That I be that friend? Like he was such a great friend to me?
Kiaterria; Well yeah, Stash….that is what I’m sayin’. I know you hate him right now and you certainly have the right to but….I don’t think anyone could get to him but you. Stash…..will you just think about it…..he really needs you…..

Off campus at the Club 1209, the brothers of Alpha Phi Alpha are preparing for their Phrozen Ice Party. Jovan and Nathaniel arrive together.
Jovan: A-Phi!
Brian and Demetrius: 00000000000-6!
Nathaniel: What’s up phrat.
Brian: Sup.
Demetrius: Sup.
Jovan: Lookin’ good in here, bros!
Brian: No doubt.
Nathaniel: You think we gonna have a pretty good turnout?
Brian: I think so. I heard a lot of people on campus talkin’ about it.
Demetrius: I know most of the Greeks are comin’. Just talked to Nat a few minutes ago. All the Delta’s are comin’ through.
Jovan: Plus I heard a lot of people sayin’ they was comin’ through just to see what the surprise is what we put on the flyer.
Nathaniel: I can’t believe we actually kept it a secret.
Jovan: I can believe we kept it a secret. I can’t believe the sorors kept it a secret. You know how they talk!
Brian: Yeah, pretty much.
Jovan: Anyway I talked to them today and they’re all set and ready to go on at 12:08.
Brian: Cool.
Jovan: Where is Devaughn?
Brian: Who knows. I actually thought he was comin’ with ya’ll. Besides, he’s not exactly one of my favorite bros right now….
Nathaniel laughs: You still salty cause he said your girl couldn’t come to the party?
Brian: Yeah and she’s pissed! She hasn’t spoken to me in 3 days!
Demetrius: She’ll be aight. Just throw a lil bit of that black and gold charm on her….
Brian: Yeah, whatever. The things I go through in the name of Alpha!
Brian laughs
Jovan: Well I’m sorry it had to be like that but out of respect for the sorors…..you know…..we just wanna give the new line the probate they actually deserve…..

Scene 2 Continued...
Once the Iota's have arrived to the party, they walk up and get into line for the party when Kashawn's cell phone rings.
Kashawn: Hello?
Laci: Hey...
Kashawn: What's up girl....where you at?
Laci: At my apartment. Where you at?
Kashawn: At the Alpha Party. I thought we were meetin' over here. Did you need me to pick you up?
Laci: Nope. I have a ride.
Kashawn: You wearin' something sexy?
Laci starts to giggle.
Laci: I guess you'll just have to wait and see.
Kashawn: Hmm...I guess so.
Laci: How's the crowd?
Kashawn: Actually it looks pretty good. So hurry up and get over here.
Laci: Okay. I'm on my way. See you soon.
Kashawn hangs up the phone and reaches to put it into his pocket and realizes he is missing his wallet.
Kashawn: You know what? I think I left my wallet in the car. I'll be back.
Malik: Alright. We'll be here.
Kashawn walks back to the parking lot towards his car. He opens the car and finds his wallet on the floor. He closes the door and turns around to find Taylor standing behind him. Kashawn jumps in surprise.
Taylor: Shawn...I'm sorry. Did I scare you?
Kashawn: Nah....just surprised me little....that's all.
Taylor: Where is Laci?
Kashawn: What? I gotta go.
Kashawn starts to walk away.
Taylor: Wait. Kashawn....can we talk?
Kashawn: About what?
Taylor: I just....I...need to talk to you privately. Where's Laci?
Taylor looks around the parking lot to see who is around.
Kashawn: Yeah, like I thought.....I gotta go...
Kashawn walks past Taylor and accidentally bumps into her. Taylor drops her purse and her things begin to fall out. Kashawn turns to look and begins to frown his face up as he sees her frantically scrambling to grab her things.
Kashawn (yelling): Taylor what is that in your purse! Is that...is that.....a gun....

Scene 3 Continued....
Outside Club 1209, Demetrius and Brian are handling the door. The DJ has set up and the club is starting to fill up with people. A line is forming outside the club.
Demetrius: Hey ladies….how are you doin? Lookin’ beautiful for the Alpha’s I see. Have a good time!
Demetrius looks up to see Natalie next in line.
Natalie: Oh they were lookin’ good for the Alpha’s, huh?
Demetrius: Heyyyy! Baby!
Natalie: Don’t hey baby me! I heard you flirtin’!
Demetrius looks over at Brian and Brian looks away.
Demetrius: Girl, you know I only have eyes for you! I was just tryin’ to be a good host!
Natalie: Mmm hmm!!
Natalie smiles and leans in to give Demetrius a hug.
Demetrius: Well you lookin’ good, girl. I better keep an eye on you!
Natalie: Yeah, you better!
Demetrius: I already took care of you. Go ahead in. Where the rest of your sorors?
Natalie: They’re comin’. See you in there.
Demetrius: Cool.
Natalie walks past Brian and Demetrius inside. While they continue to work the door, Devaughn runs up in a panic.
Demetrius: A-Phi!
Devaughn (out of breath): What’s up ya’ll. Where is Jovan?
Demetrius: Inside. Why, what’s up?
Devaughn: Get the bro’s together. We need to talk. Quick. We have a major problem!
Brian: Alright I’ll try to round everybody up.
Brian walks inside.
Demetrius: Phrat, is everything alright?
Devaughn: No it’s not!
The crowd starts to get rowdy.
Random Student: What’s the hold up? Who stopped the line?
Demetruis: Just hold on a few minutes, folks. We have a situation we have to handle and then we’ll be back on schedule.
Students: Boo!
Just then Brian comes back with Jovan and Nathaniel.
Jovan: Bro, what’s up? Brian said we got some kinda emergency.
Sean: You sure do....
The Alpha’s turn around to see Sean, the new Director of Greek life standing behind them, along with Dr. Mwatsumi.....
