Season 2 - Episode 19 We resume our episode this week with the ladies of Alpha Kappa Alpha, who have arrived at the Alpha party.... Sydney: Alright, I'm gonna see if I can find Demetrius to let him know what's goin' on. Camille: Okay, cool. Sorors, let's all stay together. You know if we split up, we'll have to answer a bunch of questions. Dashia: Yeah, that sounds good. Sydney: Alright, so I'll go track him down and then I'll meet you all back here in a few minutes. Camille: We'll be here! Sydney: Cool. Sydney walks off towards the door and disappears into the crowd in an attempt to find Demetrius. Dashia: The party looks pretty hot! Camille: Yeah, it does but I'm not surprised...frat always throws hot parties! Dashia: Plus, people came out to see the girls.... Camille: Oh....yeah, I know..... Dashia: Aww Soror, don't sound sad. P.J. and Kennedy said they would fix the problem. Camille: I know. I guess I'm just getting aggravated at everytime we try to do something, Mona seems to block it. Dashia: I thought Mona was your girl, too! Camille: I mean she's always nice to me....but it's like the chapter as a whole....it's like she has some sort of vendetta against us or something. Dashia:Honestly I think it's PJ more than it is us.... Camille: Yeah, I think you're right. Dashia: Well at least she won't be here tonight to screw anything else up. PJ said she definitely took care of her. Camille: Well she must not have done that great of a job. Dashia: Huh? What do you mean? Camille points over to the other side of the room. Camille: Look....Dashia....over there.....isn't that Mona comin' in the door with Jovan? _________________________________________________________________________________________________ Back on campus, the pledges of Zeta Phi Beta are preparing to crash the Alpha Phi Alpha party..... Faye comes out of the bathroom dressed in a black tank top, jeans, and black heels. Faye: Sorors! How do I look? Shanda: Faye! You better stop callin' us that! You're goin' to get us in trouble! Faye: With who? No one is even around to hear me! Unless one of you are goin' to tell! Shanda: I'm just sayin'..... Faye: Well I'm just sayin'....how do I look? Joi: You look cute.....but I thought we were goin' low key and discreet? Faye: This is discreet! It's black! Joi: Um, okay, girl! If you say so! Leah: Can someone help me with my hair in the back? Shanda walks over and starts to comb Leah's hair. Joi: Okay, are we sure we want to do this? Faye: Why not? What's the problem? Joi: I just don't wanna get in trouble. Faye: We'll be fine! The big sisters will be so busy doin' their greek thing and we'll be in the back. Besides, it will be a ton of people there and it will be dark when the AKA's probate. They'll never see us! Joi: And we're leaving as soon as it's over, right? Faye: Yes! As soon as the probate is over, we're out. Joi: Okay......I still don't think it's a good idea.....but okay...... Faye's cell phone begins to ring. She looks down to see that it is Sy'Mone calling. She presses ignore. Shanda: Who was that? Faye: Oh...no one! So....let's go! _________________________________________________________________________________________________ Scene 1 Continued... Dashia: Huh? What do you mean? Camille points over to the other side of the room. Camille: Look....Dashia....over there.....isn't that Mona comin' in the door with Jovan? Dashia squints her eyes Dashia: Oh my gosh! Yes, it is! What the heck is she doin' here? Camille: I don't know, but PJ is goin' to flip when she sees her. Dashia: I hope she ain't tryin' to cause any drama. Camille: Yeah, really. Dashia: Looks like she's comin' over here.... Camille: She is...act normal.... Camille and Dashia look away in the other direction, as if they don't see Mona approaching. Mona: Hello sorors! Dashia looks up, but doesn't respond. Camille: Hey....Mona... Mona: Skee Wee! Silence Camille: I didn't think I would see you here. Mona: And why is that? I never miss a party. Oh did PJ tell you I wouldn't be here? I guess she called herself having some sort of a talk with me earlier. Mona chuckles Mona: Anyway, it's a nice crowd out tonight....that's great....the neo's deserve it. Dashia (in an angry tone): And exactly how would you know what they deserve, Mona? They wouldn't need a second probate if it weren't for.... Camille: Dash! Dashia: What Camille? I'm sick of her thinkin' she can just say and do whatever she wants! Mona: My.........we're a little testy tonight..... Dashia: I wonder why.... Mona: Well! I certainly know where I'm not welcome.....Soror Dashia, I'm sorry you feel that way......I do hope you'll feel differently in the future. Dashia: I wouldn't count on it. PJ: What is goin' on here? Dashia, Mona, and Camille turn around to find PJ standing there with the neo's behind her.... Mona: Oh hey Peej.... PJ: Don't hey me.....I thought we had an understanding..... Mona: You thought wrong. PJ: I know what you tried to do with the girl's costumes. I know you tried to sabotage their night. But as you can see, your little plan didn't work. Mona: Soror, I really think you must be delusional. I don't have the slightest clue what you are talkin' about..... PJ: Mona stop playin' games! You make me so..... Brian: Sorors......it's time for the show.....ya'll ready? PJ turns around to Brian. PJ: Yes, frat we are....thanks.... Brian: Cool. We have a space up front reserved just for the sorors. Follow me... PJ turns and rolls her eyes at Mona before wishing the neo's good luck and following Brian to the front...... __________________________________________________________________________________________________ Over at the Omega House, Kiaterria and Stasha have just arrived in response to a call from Karissa that Kyle was not breathing. As they arrive, they see an ambulance outside and the sight of the flashing lights makes Stasha start to cry. Kiaterria: Stasha...come on now.....don't cry.....we don't even know what's goin' on yet. Stasha: I know. I know....it's just.... Kiaterria: Pull yourself together. Let's go see what's goin' on. Kiaterria parks her car and her and Stasha both jump out and run up to the house. The front door is wide open and they run inside up to Kyle's room, where they find Armani standing to the side, holding Karissa, who is crying and looking on. A paramedics team is hovered over Kyle. Stasha and Kiaterria both begin to cry. Karissa breaks free from Armani and runs over in an attempt to hug her sorors. Kiaterria opens up to her embrace. Stasha steps to the side and turns her shoulder to her. Kiaterria: What is happenin'? Someone tell me what is happenin! Armani: I....I came up here to get Kyle....we was supposed to be leavin' for the Alpha party together and he wouldn't answer the door so I.....I broke the door down and I found him in here on his bed unconscious don't know if he took somethin' or what.....I don't know what my dawg did! Stasha begins to cry harder. One of the paramedics looks up at Armani. Paramedic: We're gonna have to take him to the hospital. You can follow us and if you want, one of you can ride in the ambulance with him. Karissa: I will! Stasha looks over at Karissa and rolls her eyes. Stasha: Do you know what's wrong with him? Did he take something? Paramedic: Ehh....I really don't want to say anything just yet. Do any of you know how to get into contact with his parents? Kiaterria: Yes, I'm his cousin. I can do that. Paramedic: Good.You may want to contact his family. Kiaterria: Oh my gosh! Is my cousin goin' to be okay? Stasha goes over and hugs Kiaterria tightly as they wheel Kyle out of his room on a stretcher..... __________________________________________________________________________________________________ Scene 2 Continued...
