Season 2 - Episode 28 Our episode resumes this week one week later on the campus of Ahpla University. We join Natalie and Sheena in their apartment.... Sheena: I still can't believe you told Laci about Taylor and Kashawn. Natalie: What? Why not? What they were doin' was wrong! Besides, I don't like Taylor no way. Sheena: Yeah, I know but still... Natalie: But still what? Who knows when they would have told her if I hadn't said anything! Sheena: Was she upset when you told her? Natalie: Of course! She was pissed! Hurt too. But mostly pissed. Sheena: So you actually went over there with her? Natalie: Yep. Sheena: Was Taylor surprised to see you? Natalie: You know she was! You know that crazy stupid look she gets on her face sometimes! Sheena: You are so wrong! Natalie: Whatever! Sheena: So what did she say? Natalie: She didn't have a chance to say much of anything. As soon as the door opened, Laci started lettin' her have it! Sheena: For real? Natalie: Soror! You should have been there! She went off! And then Kashawn comes jumpin' into the middle of things... Sheena: I can't see why in the world they fightin' over him. Natalie: I thought it was just me thinkin' that! Natalie and Sheena start to laugh and are startled to hear a knock at the door.... ______________________________________________________________________________________________ Over in Kiaterria's room, she is getting ready to go to a going away get together for Kyle, hosted by the Que's and the Delta's. KIaterria is combing her hair in the mirror when her cell phone rings. Kiaterria: Hello? Karissa: Hey soror. Kiaterria: Hello? Karissa: Soror Tee? It's me. Karissa. Kiaterria: Oh. Karissa. Hey. Karissa: Hey to you too! Kiaterria: I didn't mean anything by it. I'm just surprised to hear from you. Karissa: I guess you can say I been layin' low. Kiaterria: Oh. Karissa:I heard Kyle is leaving? Kiaterria: Yup. Karissa: For good? Kiaterria: No. Just for the semester. Silence Kiaterria: Karissa, is there somethin' I can help you with? Karissa: I was just callin'....why....are you busy? Kiaterria: Well I'm gettin' ready to leave and.... Kiaterria is interrupted by a knock on the door. Kiaterria: Karissa, I have to go. That must be my date. Karissa: Tell Jeff I said hi! Kiaterria doesn't respond and Karissa hangs up. Kiaterria rushes over to the door to open it. She immediately smiles when she sees her date, Devaughn waiting on the other side... ______________________________________________________________________________________________ Scene 1 Continued... Natalie: Soror! You should have been there! She went off! And then Kashawn comes jumpin' into the middle of things... Sheena: I can't see why in the world they fightin' over him. Natalie: I thought it was just me thinkin' that! Natalie and Sheena start to laugh and are startled to hear a knock at the door.... Sheena: Who is that? Natalie: Probably Laci. She said she was comin' by, so we could all go to Kyle's thing together. Sheena: Oh.Okay. Sheena gets up to open the door and is surprised to find Taylor on the other side. Taylor: Hey soror. Sheena: Taylor? Taylor: Surprised to see me? Sheena: Um, yeah. I didn't know you were comin' by. Taylor: Is Natalie here? Natalie walks up to the door. Natalie: Sheena....who is.... Natalie stops in her tracks when she sees Taylor. Natalie: What are you doin' here? Taylor: What do you mean? Seems like you have no problem with people just showing up unannounced. Natalie: You know what? I really don't have time for this crap tonight. We have to get over to Kyle's party. Taylor: I'm headed there myself, soror. But first....you and I are going to get some things straight once and for all..... ______________________________________________________________________________________________ Over at the diner, the Que's are finishing the set up for Kyle's going away party. Armani: Man, I'm gonna miss my dawg. Sherrod: I know right! Armani: I thought the sorors were comin' through to help us set up. Sherrod: Yeah I thought so too. Armani: I'll try to call Natalie and see what's up. Armani pulls out his cell phone and dials Natalie's number, but it goes to voicemail. Armani: No answer. I hope she ain't forget they supposed to be bringin' some of the food. Sherrod: They probably on the way. Just then, Armani and Sherrod hear a car pull up. Sherrod: That's probably them right there. The door opens and Jeff and some of the other football team members walk in. Armani: What's up ya'll! Jeff: What's up Armani. Where's the guest of honor? Armani: Who knows. Ya'll are the first ones here. Jeff: That's cool. Expectin' a big crowd? Armani: You know...the bruhs....the sorors....a few other people. Jeff: Cool. You need any help with anything? Armani: Nah, you straight. Get yo self a drink and enjoy yourself. Jeff: Alright.... Jeff walks over to the table and starts to look through the drinks. Sherrod: Yo Jeff.... Jeff: What's up? Sherrod: Where's Tee? I ain't used to seein' you without your girl... _______________________________________________________________________________________________ Scene 2 Continued... Kiaterria is interrupted by a knock on the door. Kiaterria: Karissa, I have to go. That must be my date. Karissa: Tell Jeff I said hi! Kiaterria doesn't respond and Karissa hangs up. Kiaterria rushes over to the door to open it. She immediately smiles when she sees her date, Devaughn waiting on the other side... Devaughn: What's up baby. Kiaterria: Hey! Devaughn: You look great! Kiaterria: Thanks! You do too. Devaughn: Well you know....I do what I can..... Kiaterria laughs Devaughn: You ready to go? Kiaterria: Absolutely. Kiaterria follows Devaughn out to his car. Devaughn: I was really surprised when you called me. Kiaterria: Oh really? Devaughn: Yeah, I was.....I mean....you know I been feelin' you for a minute, but you haven't given me the time of day! Kiaterria: I had a boyfriend! Devaughn: Oh yeah....that white boy...what's his name..... Kiaterria: Jeff. Devaughn: What happened with that dude anyway? Silence Devaughn: Okay I can take a hint. I know what that means. That's cool. I don't want to talk about him anyway. What I do want to talk about is me and you.... Kiaterria: What about me and you? Devaughn: I'm feeling you, Tee.... Kiaterria: Thanks. Devaughn turns his car into the parking lot and Kiaterria gasps in surprise. Devaughn: What's wrong? You alright? Kiaterria: Yeah....it's just.....that's Jeff's car over there.....I....I didn't think he would be here..... ________________________________________________________________________________________________ Scene 3 Continued.. Over at the diner, Kyle's going away party is starting to get into full swing. A lot of people have arrived and they are still awaiting the guest of honor... Kyle: I'm here! Everyone begins to cheer for Kyle as he comes through the door. Armani: We gon miss you dawg! Kyle: I'm gonna miss ya'll too! Just then Stasha comes right behind him and steps up and grabs Kyle by the hand. Kyle takes her ring finger and holds it high up in the air, proudly displaying a princess cut solitaire. Everyone gasps in surprise and begins to cheer. Sherrod: I guess we got more than one thing to celebrate tonight! Everybody, have a good time. Armani turns toward the D.J. Armani: Alright DJ...you know what to play. Just then, Atomic Dog begins to play. The Que's begin to bark loudly. Stasha gives Kyle a peck on the cheek before he quickly runs off to join his other frat brothers on the floor. Stasha walks over and sits down. She sees Kiaterria walking in with Devaughn. Kiaterria catches her eye and runs over to where she is sitting. Kiaterria: Soror! Stasha: Hey! Kiaterria leans down to give Stasha a hug and a kiss. Stasha: And uh....what are you doin' here with Devaughn? Kiaterria: What do you mean? I needed a date and he was available. Plus he's fine! Stasha: And he's slept with half the campus! Kiaterria: Who said anything about sleepin' with him? Stasha: Girl..... Kiaterria: What? I didn't want to come by myself. I saw Jeff's car. Have you seen him? Stasha: Yeah, he's here....I don't know where he.... Just then, Kiaterria spots the ring on Stasha's finger. She grabs Stasha's hand and brings it up closer to her face to inspect it. Kiaterria: Um, excuse me! You didn't tell me you got your ring! Stasha begins to smile. Kiaterria: Wow! This is nice, girl! My cousin did well! Stasha: Yes, he did. I can't believe he picked it out himself. Kiaterria: I'm so excited that you and my cousin worked things out. I can't wait until you're officially a part of the family. Stasha leans closer to Kiaterria. Stasha: Can you keep a secret? Kiaterria: Of course I can.... Stasha leans in even close to whisper into Kiaterria's ear. Stasha: I'm already a part of the family. Kyle and I got married today....
