Welcome Back! If you have been a fan of As the Sands Burn and have missed it, or if this is your first time on Ahpla University's campus, then you are in for a treat! We are back and better than when we left! My name is Darrius Jerome Gourdine, most on the internet know me as ADoP (Assistant Dean of Pages). I am the creator and author of As the Sands Burn. I attended Howard University and pledged Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Incorporated while there (Beta chapter). I am more than pleased to announce and present the new writer of As the Sands Burn, Lynnette Daughtry Barrett. She is a graduate of Mary Baldwin College in Staunton, Virginia and is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated. Lynnette and I have been writing together for years and she is well equipped to keep you coming back for more as the drama builds at Ahpla. As the Sands Burn is the largest and longest running soap opera on the internet. And we are proud to say the only one dedicated to the lives of students at a Historical Black college. As you followed the lives of students such as PJ, Nino, Gregg, Candace, Bobby, April, Miri, Willie, Ronnie, of course Mona Ferguson and many others, you will fall in love with the new set of students on the yard now!
